How does UW Students work?

First our qualified team of Lemon’ites go on a mission to find credible local businesses and work out amazing deals for you, our marvelous customers.

This is where you come in!

After we post the amazing deal on our website, it is up to you decide weather you would like to buy the deal or gift it to one of your friends or family. If you do, all you have to do is login and hit the “Buy Now” button and get the deal.

Here is the exciting part!

Buying power in groups is tremendously stronger and each deal has a threshold of buyers in order for it to become successful (only then will you be charged and have access to your amazing deal).

So here’s your chance to invite friends to the deal and earn credit for your next purchase on our website! For every new friend you refer using your “special link” you get 5 Dollars to spend on anything on our website! Now how’s that for sharing a deal your friends would love, it’s a win-win for everyone!

 

What currency are the UW Students coupons sold in?

The currency that we sell each coupon in is Canadian (CDN). We are a Canadian run business and are proud of it!

 

What types of payments do you accept?

It is our job to provide you with a wide variety of ways to pay. We currently offer you the ability to pay using VISA, Master Card, and Paypal. We are also working right now to provide you with the ability to pay by interact debit, which you might just fancy.

 

Is the credit card information we provide secure?

The answer is YES. We specifically have a security staff focused on keeping your credit card information (Along with everything else) 100% Secure. We use PayPal Secure Checkout which is used by major websites including eBay. Not to mention, we never store any information on our servers at all. We take your protection seriously and we mean it.

 

I just purchased the deal how do I redeem it?

Redeeming the deal you just purchased quick and easy. After the deal is successful simply print out the coupon found in your account under My Account “Coupons” and bring it in to the local business where the employees there will be happy to accept it.

 

How does the merchant know if the coupon has been redeemed?

Each merchant is trained by us and is provided with a catalog online and offline of the coupons distributed for their business. Each coupon has a randomly generated unique id and a simple cross-reference on the merchant’s side will happen each time they receive a coupon. This makes it fair for everyone, but don’t worry it wont affect your experience the slightest!

 

Does the coupon I purchase ever expire?

All the information you need including any restrictions and expiration dates are included on the coupon that you print out and viewable in the “Coupons” list in your account. It is binding, but keep a look out some never have expiry dates.

 

Can I give my purchased coupon as a gift or transfer it to someone else?

Of course! We love when you give the coupons as gifts and we find that people love them as gifts. Just make sure that the coupon haven’t been used already in order to halt the confusion!

If you know it’s a gift before you by the coupon all you have to do is select “give as gift and we will send it straight to the recipient”

 

I own a business, how can I get on UW Students?

We love when businesses come to us! It shows that they are proactive and love our service just as much as the customers and of course us. Simply contact us at uwaterloostudents@gmail.com with the title “Merchant Request”, tell us a bit about your business, and don’t forget to include your contact info. Our team will get back to you as soon as they can to see if we are right for you!

 

UW Students isn’t in my city yet. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

We welcome any suggestions, just send us an e-mail and tell us about why you want us in your city! There might even be an opportunity for you if we like what we hear.
